The Georgia Tech GIFT program is currently accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Internship Program.

Before you begin to complete the GIFT application, it is essential that you preview ALL the questions. Once you save and submit your application, you will not be able to log back in to make adjustments or corrections.

Below you will find a few questions and/or activities from the application that may require additional research before filling in and submitting the form:

  • A teacher applying for a GIFT internship position must demonstrate that he/she can legally work for a company without the hosting company's sponsorship of a work visa. The exception to this requirement is a company agreeing to sponsor the GIFT teacher's work visa.
  • Submission of an electronic version of your Resume or Curriculum Vitae (accepted extensions: .pdf; .doc; .docx;)
  • Submission of Georgia Educator Certificate Number
  • Central Office Staff Development Director/Coordinator Full Name
  • Number of students attending the school where you currently teach
  • The percentage of students eligible for free or reduced lunch
  • The enrollment by Race/Ethnicity for your school. This information can be found at this link: https://schoolgrades.georgia.gov/
  • Professional Memberships or Professional Publications
  • Professional Development Activities (i.e., presentations, achievements, and recognition)
  • Experiences and skills
  • Two professional references (Must be from Administrators, Curriculum Coordinators, or Department Chairs)
  • Describe how a GIFT internship would benefit you and your students (Limit 100 words)
  • Optional information you may wish to share? (Limit 100 words)
  • During the application/sponsorship matching period, if circumstances require that you must withdraw from the candidate pool, please notify GIFT immediately so that your application can be removed from consideration.
